
A man was found dead on the street in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin. According to a report in Der Spiegel magazine, the man is a secret agent of the Russian intelligence agency (FSB). Politik Rusia
Reporting from Reuters, Friday (11/5/2021), the body of the 35-year-old man was found on October 19, 2021. However, the discovery of the body in front of the Russian diplomatic mission has never been reported before.
Der Spiegel also reported that the man allegedly fell from the top floor of the Russian Embassy building.

Security sources told Der Spiegel it was not clear how the diplomat fell and what led to his death. The Russian embassy is said to have not approved the autopsy.

The man, who was not named, is officially registered as the embassy’s second secretary. He also has family ties to a senior officer in the Russia-based FSB’s second directorate, which deals with counter-terrorism.
