Cases of COVID-19 Death in Russia Record Again, Oxygen Supply in Hospitals is running low

The number of deaths from the Corona virus (COVID-19) in Russia has again broken a record high in a day. More than 1,200 Corona deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in Russia.
As reported by Reuters, Wednesday (11/10/2021), the Russian Government’s Corona Virus Task Force reported 1,239 deaths from Corona in the past day. Politik Rusia

The latest data from the Russian government also mentions that 38,058 cases of Corona were detected in the last 24 hours, with 3,927 of them recorded in Moscow.

The record high for daily coronavirus deaths comes days after most Russians returned to work after offices were temporarily closed the past week, nationwide, to control the spread of the coronavirus.

President Vladimir Putin announced last month that offices would be temporarily closed between October 30 and November 7, in a bid to slow the spike in coronavirus cases. The week-long office closure is designated a ‘day off work’ but workers will still get paid. Berita politik dan ekonomi Rusia

In a statement to the Russian parliament on Wednesday (9/11) local time, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko revealed that oxygen reserves in hospitals in 12 Russian regions were running low. Cheapsko stated that the current supply is expected to last for two days or less, unless it is replenished.
